Source of Funding

Source of Funding:

There are two main sources of funding for WCI’s activities:

1- Child sponsorship is WCI’s primary source of funding and creates the channels through which individual sponsors support the development activities of children in deprived communities;

2- Grant funding sourced from individuals and institution is the other source of funding for the organization.

Child Safeguarding:

Women & Children Development International is committed to child safeguarding. Protecting children’s rights, safety, and well-being is our top priority in all our operations & partnerships. To ensure this commitment is clear and well-executed, we train new staff and partners quarterly.

Gender Equality:

WCI places a strong emphasis on gender equality. Empowering women is essential for sustainable development and addressing inequalities in the communities. Hence, we place women at the center of our interventions. WCI is not only elevating women’s roles but also contributing to the overall development of rural areas. When women are given the resources, support, and opportunities they need, they often lead the way in creating lasting change in their communities.
